Trustee Board Recruitment

Healed Scars empowers women who’ve been affected by trauma, abuse to live independent lives free from fear.

We promote cohesive inter-agency responses to domestic abuse and develop partnerships to work towards a society in which domestic abuse is no longer tolerated.
We focus on women in the UK who have left their toxic relationships. We support them by providing a wide, free offer of motivational, empowering, healing, trauma, and coaching programmes.

We are excited at the prospect of welcoming new trustees.

Our new trustees will be joining us at a significant time in the charity’s creation and evolution. We respond to the Covid19 regulation by migrating all activities to video and phone platforms for our beneficiaries, supporters and clients. These extraordinary circumstances also necessitated changes in where and how Healed Scars can continue work.

This is a voluntary role and out of pocket expenses will be met. Healed Scars is committed to equality and diversity, and we would encourage applications from people from all walks of life.

Closing date: Monday 16/11/2020
Interviews: 23 and 24 November 2020 via Zoom

Newly created HEALED SCARS Trustee Board will be officially introduced during the Charity Meeting (zoom session, Monday 30 November 2020, time: 7 pm – 8:30 pm)
